2. Wood damage: Termites feed on wood, and they can cause significant damage to a home’s structural timbers, flooring, and furniture. Look for hollowed-out or damaged wood, especially in areas that are damp or near soil.

3. Swarmers: Winged termites, also known as swarmers, are the reproductive members of a termite colony. During the spring and early summer months, these insects may be seen flying around windows or light sources inside the home.

4. Discarded wings: After swarming, termites shed their wings. You may find piles of these wings on windowsills, floors, or spider webs.

5. Noises: Some species of termites make clicking or rustling sounds when they are disturbed or moving through wood.
