As part of the Initial Construction phase of a new home or business, before the concrete slab is poured, a soil treatment is required for the prevention and treatment of Subterranean Termites. This treatment is required by local County Codes in conjunction with Florida Building Codes and Ordinances.
The team at Personalized Pest Control has the knowledge and experience to treat your new home. Most often we work with the home builder or contractor building the home. However, we can also work directly with the homeowner to coordinate construction treatment services
Upon completion of the initial slab treatment, our technicians will post all required treatment notices on the permit board. When the final perimeter treatment is performed, the treatment notice will be posted on the electrical panel.
Billing will be generated after each service. Additionally, warranty information and paperwork will be completed and provided to the builder or homeowner as indicated. The initial service and treatment cost includes the warranty for the first year. After the first year, the homeowner/buyer may obtain annual extensions of this warranty for a period of up to 4 years with an annual renewal fee.
As part of the construction process, Personalized Pest Control also recommends performing pest control and termite treatments to the interior walls and framing using Timbor. Treatment is recommended just before the drywall is installed.
The use of Timbor offers protection to structures where wood is available to treat. Timbor is an insecticide, fungicide and wood preservative used for the protection and treatment of lumber against fungal decay and wood destroying insects (including termites, beetles, and carpenter ants).

Depending on the severity and type of infestation. Service is designed to achieve temporary control of a pest problem and does not offer a guarantee against future infestations. Recommendations may also be provided for ongoing treatments to prevent recurrence of the pest issue.
Prices are estimates for homes under 3,000 sq ft. Actual cost of service vary by home size, pest type, and severity. Initial service may differ from maintenance visits based on conditions found. Coverage is for listed pests in the Customer Service Agreement; specialty pests (e.g., termites, bed bugs, wildlife) are not included in these plans. Homes with pool cages/screened enclosures may require an additional charge to address ongoing spiders/webbing inside the enclosure.
