American Wood Roach…commonly known as Palmetto Bugs: American wood roaches are common in the humid climate of Southwest Florida. While they are primarily an outdoor pest, they may gain access inside homes or businesses through cracks and openings in windows, doors, screens, etc. They live and breed in decaying organic matter outside and thrive in warm, moist environments, such as mulch, wood piles, and leaf matter. Taking proactive steps to eliminate cockroach populations is the best way to avoid encounters with these winged pests. Personalized Pest Control will thoroughly inspect your home and property to identify and treat problem areas that encourage the growth of a pest population.
German Roaches: Unfortunately, German Roaches are quite common in Southwest Florida and, if not treated, will develop into a serious, ongoing pest infestation inside the structure. The presence of German Roaches can lead to health concerns and sanitation issues. They are typically problematic in kitchens and bathrooms due to access to food and moisture. Normally, these pests will seek dark, moist areas during the day and scurry around during the night to feed.
Personalized Pest Control’s cockroach removal technicians will thoroughly inspect your entire property to locate and correctly identify roach populations. Next, a custom pest control plan will be developed to eradicate the current pests as well as to prevent future activity.
Based on our professional evaluation of your property, a variety of ongoing service programs are available designed to treat and control the identified pest issue. These service programs offer treatment to the interior and/or exterior of the home. Common household pests requiring treatment may include ants, spiders, palmettos, earwigs, and silverfish. However, specialized treatment plans can be provided that target German roaches, Asian roaches, and other types of invasive pests that may require ongoing intensive service.
